Fern & Feather Counseling and Wellness is growing, and weâre looking for thoughtful, curious, genuinely human LPCs and APCs to grow with us. Weâre a therapist-owned practice in Cumming, Georgia, built around a pretty simple idea: therapy can be evidence-based, ethical, deeply humanâand still happen in a place where both clients and clinicians can exhale.
We care about doing excellent clinical work. We also care about creating a work environment where therapists are trusted, supported, and allowed to be actual people.
We built Fern & Feather to be the kind of practice we would want to work in ourselves. That means thoughtful, evidence-based care without the corporate feel; professional autonomy without having to figure everything out alone; and a community of clinicians who genuinely like learning from and supporting one another.
Weâre serious about ethics, good clinical care, inclusion, and continuing to grow as therapists. Weâre considerably less serious about pretending we have it all together.
You believe science and humanity belong in the same room. Youâre curious, collaborative, affirming, and willing to keep learningâeven when that means changing your mind.
You want autonomy and flexibility, but you also like having people down the hall who understand the weird, wonderful, occasionally exhausting work of being a therapist.
You care more about being a good therapist than looking like one.
You believe clients deserve a space where they donât have to edit who they are in order to belong.
And you bring something of your own to the practiceâa specialty, population, approach, perspective, or area of clinical curiosity that youâre genuinely excited about. Weâre especially interested in clinicians who enjoy working with adults and/or adolescents.
Comfortable, thoughtfully designed offices and shared spaces that feel warm and welcomingânot clinical or corporate.
The systems and behind-the-scenes pieces that let you spend more of your energy being a therapist and less of it building an entire business from scratch.
Become part of the Fern & Feather brand while still having room to develop your own clinical identity, specialties, and voice.
Real humans helping keep things moving behind the scenes.
Connection, consultation, collaboration, and people to ask, âHey, can I run something by you?â No mandatory friendship bracelets required.
We want good clinicians to have room to practice like good clinicians. Weâre not interested in micromanaging you.
Clinicians join Fern & Feather as 1099 independent contractors with a 70/30 splitâyou keep 70% of collected session fees.
Build the practice that works for your life. Whether youâre looking for a small caseload alongside other work or building toward a fuller private practice, you decide what your work at Fern & Feather looks like.
Choose your own hours, the clients you want to work with, your clinical focus, your private-pay rate, and whether you see clients in person, virtually, or a mix of both. Practice within your areas of clinical interest and competence.
We provide the infrastructure, space, administrative and marketing support, and clinician community. You maintain control over your schedule, caseload, and clinical work.
Weâre welcoming Georgia LPCs and APCs equally whose clinical work and values align with Fern & Feather.
For APCs: You must have and maintain independent clinical supervision outside of Fern & Feather. Supervision is not currently provided through the practice.
Our office is in Cumming, Georgia, just one mile from GA-400 at Exit 13, convenient to Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and surrounding communities.
